PROFESSIONALIZING CONSERVATION - MAURITIUS
8-minute documentary about conservation initiatives in the Black River National Park in Mauritius for a National Geographic Society training course.
Responsibilities included: location scouting, hired local crew, rented equipment, travel carnet, coordinated schedule, created call sheets and shot lists, lead interviews, directed crew, managed all media during production.
VEY NOU LAGON
22-minute documentary for an ocean conservation awareness campaign in Mauritius, distributed to over 2,000 people locally in fishing villages and schools, broadcast on Maryland Public Television, funded in part by the National Geographic Society.
Responsibilities included: location scouting, wrote treatments and script, fundraising/pitching, created and managed budgets, crew, equipment, shot lists, production schedules, worked with editor on Adobe Premiere remotely, worked with animator on After Effects, oversaw color correction and sound design, submitted to festivals and other distribution outlets, planned local screenings in villages and promotion of events in Mauritius in collaboration with the local government and NGOs.
Four-minute virtual reality experience with ocean plastic pollution lesson plan distributed to over 500 middle- and high-school students in the Philippines, funded by the National Geographic Society, in partnership with the Haribon Foundation.
